Antoninus Pius and Faustina, his wife.
Antoninus Pius (Full Name Titus Aelius Hadrianus Antoninus Pius), was the fourth of the Five Good Emperors from the Nerva–Antonine dynasty. He was born into a senatorial family, which afforded him opportunities. Antoninus held various positions during the reign of Emperor Hadrian.
Faustina, or Annia Galeria Faustina the Elder in full, sometimes referred to as Faustina I or Faustina Major was the wife of Antoninus Pius. The emperor Marcus Aurelius, was her nephew and later became her adopted son. She died early in the principate of Antoninus Pius, but continued to be prominently commemorated as a Diva, posthumously playing a prominent symbolic role during his reign.
Antoninius Pius and Faustina had four children, but sadly only one survived to see them ascend to Emperor and Empress.
