British East Africa from 1921 to 1969 used the shilling and pound currency of Britain.

One pound in UK is worth 20 shillings but in Eats Africa the Shilling  it was the primary unit ,which was so different o the rest of the British Empire, This was due to rupee trading of the  nearby countries of Kenya and Uganda.
