Gaius Caesar Augustus Germanicus, better known by his nickname Caligula, was Roman emperor from 37 CE until his assassination in 41 CE. He was the son of the Roman general Germanicus and Agrippina the Elder, Augustus' granddaughter.

He was born in Anzio, Italy on 31 August 12 CE.
