Dragons are mythical reptilian creatures of fearsome appearance that feature in many ancient cultures. The existence of dragons remains a popular notion and they are strongly represented in contemporary fantasy. Striking design
The coin portrays a striking image of a dragon. In the background, the dragon’s hoard includes treasure chests and coins, as well as statues and icons from ancient civilizations. Included in the design is The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark.
Memorial Obverse
