OPALPLUS HAS BEEN PURCHASER OF PERTH MINT COINS SINCE EARLY 1980s
IN AUGUST 2007 WE WERE APPROVED AS AUTHORIZED DEALER FOR PERTH MINT AUSTRALIA .
COINSPLUS NOW SPECILAIZES IN COINS
Australia’s largest bird of prey, the majestic Wedge-Tailed Eagle, is immortalised on this 1oz silver proof coin.
Each coin is struck by The Perth Mint from 1oz of 99.9% pure silver in proof quality.
The Perth Mint commissioned American sculptor and engraver, John M Mercanti, the twelfth Chief Engraver of the United States Mint, to create the 2014 Australian Wedge-Tailed Eagle design.
The silver coin’s reverse depicts an impressive Wedge-Tailed Eagle in mid-flight as it prepares to land on a tree branch. The design also includes the inscription AUSTRALIAN WEDGE-TAILED EAGLE, the 2014 year-date and The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark.
The coin is issued as Australian legal tender under the Australian Currency Act 1965 and features the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and the monetary denomination on the obverse.
The Perth Mint will issue no more than 10,000 of these Australian Wedge-Tailed Eagle 2014 1oz Silver Proof High Relief Coins.
The coin is housed in a grey presentation case with a themed, customised shipper and is accompanied by a numbered Certificate of Authenticity.

Why are users outbidding themselves?
When a bid is placed, this is the maximum amount a person is willing to bid for the product. Our system will then automatically bid on behalf of the bidder, incrementally increasing the bid up to the maximum to maintain their position as the highest bidder.
When there is an icon indicating 'Automatic Bid', it means our system is actively placing bids for the bidder based on their maximum bid. This may appear as if bidders are outbidding themselves, but it's simply a result of the system updating the bid to reflect the bidders maximum limit.
