Additional Notes: Circulating commemorative from the United States Mint's "America the Beautiful" Quarters Program. Celebrating America's most beautiful From 2010 through 2021, the U.S. Mint issued 56 quarters as part of the America the Beautiful Quarters Program. The reverse designs depicted a national park or other national site for each U.S. state, territory, and the District of Columbia.

The American Memorial Park in the Northern Mariana Islands honors the thousands of American troops and local residents of Saipan, the second-largest island in the Northern Mariana Islands, who sacrificed their lives during the Marianas Campaign of World War II. At the Court of Honor, the American flag is displayed at the center of the Flag Circle and surrounded by the Navy, Marine Corps, Army, and Coast Guard flags, consisting of 26 granite panels inscribed with the names of 5,204 service members who died in battle.
